Accessibility
Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use the Elite Insight website and obtain the information they need, including people who use assistive technology or need information in another format.
This statement applies to the public website at https://eliteinsight.co.uk/. It does not cover third-party websites or services that we link to and do not control.
If something prevents you from using the site, email info@eliteinsight.co.uk. We will work with you to understand the barrier and find a reasonable way for you to access the information or complete the task.
- Technical standard
- We aim for the website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
- Current status
- No failures found in automated and keyboard testing against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Screen-reader testing has not yet been carried out, so we do not yet claim full conformance.

Using the website
The website is designed so that you can use its content and main tasks in different ways.
Use a keyboard.
Navigate links, menus, forms and other controls without a mouse, with a visible indication of where you are on the page.
Change the size and layout.
Zoom text to 200% and use the site at narrow widths without losing information or controls.
Use assistive technology.
Move through meaningful headings, landmarks, links, forms and status messages with current, commonly used screen readers and speech-input software.
Understand the content.
Follow clearly named links, labelled fields, instructions and error messages written in plain language.
Reduce movement.
Use your device's reduced-motion setting to avoid non-essential movement.
Access essential information.
Read the site's core editorial content without relying on an image, colour, animation or hover action to supply its meaning.
Tell us what you need
If you cannot access any part of the website, email info@eliteinsight.co.uk.
Tell us which page, document or task is causing difficulty, what happened and what would help. If you know the browser, device or assistive technology you were using, that information may help us investigate, but you do not have to provide it. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary.
You can also ask for website information in another accessible format. We will consider what you need and agree a reasonable alternative with you.
We will acknowledge your message within two working days and explain what will happen next.
Known accessibility limitations
We list verified accessibility limitations here, including who may be affected, what we are doing and any alternative available in the meantime.
We are not aware of any accessibility barriers on the website. Our testing so far has not included screen readers or speech-input software, so if you use assistive technology and something does not work as it should, please tell us.
How we tested the website
We tested every page of the website on 9 October 2026, before launch, together with its shared components and main tasks, using manual checks and automated tools. Automated tools were used to support the review, not as proof that the website is accessible.
| Field | Record |
|---|---|
| Test date | 9 October 2026 |
| Website version | Pre-launch version of the new website, tested on its private preview build |
| Scope | All 25 public pages at desktop and phone widths, plus the main and mobile menus, the cookie banner and settings panel, both forms (including their error messages), search and the sector menu. Excludes third-party websites we link to. |
| Manual checks | Keyboard, focus order and visibility, headings, landmarks, link purpose, forms, errors, status messages, zoom, reflow, contrast, motion and content meaning |
| Assistive technology | Not yet tested with screen readers or speech-input software. |
| Mobile and responsive states | Browser emulation at widths from 320 to 1600 pixels, including reflow checks at 320, 375 and 414 pixels, plus a review on an iPhone. |
| Automated tools | axe-core 4.14 (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules) and Google Lighthouse 12. Automated tools find only some accessibility barriers. |
| Tester | Internal review by Elite Insight |
| Method limitations | No testing with screen readers, speech-input software or disabled users. Automated tools cannot confirm every WCAG criterion. |
| Result | No failures found against the criteria checked and no unresolved findings. Two issues found during testing, the contrast of one text panel on phones and a missing group label, were fixed before launch. Full conformance is not claimed until screen-reader testing is complete. |
How we maintain accessibility
Accessibility is considered when we design components, write and publish content, and make material changes to the website. We record reported barriers, assign responsibility for addressing them and retest changes before closing an issue.
We review this statement after a material change to the website or our accessibility position, and at least once a year.
Shared components
Use the approved design system and its accessibility requirements for shared components.
Before publication
Check heading structure, link meaning, alternative text, tables and document formats before publication.
Forms and interaction
Test new or changed forms and interactive components with a keyboard and relevant assistive technology.
Reported issues
Keep reported issues open until the correction has been retested.
This statement
Update this statement when testing, limitations, support arrangements or site scope change.
If the problem is not resolved
If you have reported a barrier and are not satisfied with our response, reply to the same email thread and ask us to review the matter. Your request will be considered separately from the initial response where practicable.
